Geoff ‘s passion for singing is expressed in his performance. Vince - Guitar, Vocals

In his younger years Vince loved the Beatles, their movies & cartoon series. Vince got interested in the guitar at 16 & started a band with John. While learning & playing guitar, Vince discovered the Eagles & developed a passion for their music, playing style & pristine harmonies. After hanging up the guitar for many years, in 1997 he decided to give John another call to restart the musical experience which today is known as The Shades.

John - Bass Guitar, Vocals

John hails from Tuscany, Italy. He reportedly was once very good friends with Andrea Bocelli, whom apparently taught John to sing. John started playing music at a young age until the age of 19, when he got married and the bliss took him away from music. Venues such as the Texas Tavern and the Phoenician Club all bring back great memories. John's family grew and he got older, until Vince knocked on the door and Johns musical career was restarted.

Malcolm - Drums, Vocals  

Malcolm's wealth of experience & talent is a great attribute to any band. Providing a solid foundation for The Shades rhythm section. 
He has played in the Rolling Stones & The Doors tribute shows as well as drumming for the highly successful  " Beatnix."   Beatles show. 
Mal also plays 12 string  guitar, & enjoys singing and writing songs as well. His all time favorite band is Foreigner.

Richard - Guitar, Vocals

The "Rock Pig" from Camden, as he is sometimes known started playing his axe at a young age. He was assisted in this endeavour by his grandfather, who would sit with him for hours playing for him and introducing him to country music. His passion found to be the total opposite. The Rock/Blues bug bit him like a venomous snake injecting poison into its victim’s veins, and today still circulating strong with every heart beat.Richard has played in various cover bands and original bands such as "Runaway Babe" and "Roy Coopers Twisted" around Australia for years honing his craft and he now brings his considerable experience to The Shades.
